ACTIVITIES
Aside from enjoying the Calabogie Motorsports Park there are a number of other activities you can explore during your visit:
Canoeing/ Paddle Boat / Kayaking / Whitewater and River Rafting: For the thrill seekers, there are three major white water rafting operations (30-45 minute drive), offering exciting trips down the Ottawa or Madawaska Rivers.
Swimming: Beach & dock accessibility
Hiking / Wilderness Walks / Rock Climbing: The area has a very large hiking trails network with varying levels of difficulty from short novice trails to more demanding longer trails. Information on the various trails is available at the Lodge. For those who enjoy rock climbing, the challenging Eagle’s Nest cliff is a short drive from the Lodge.
Horseback Riding: Sleigh rides and horseback riding are available within 45 minutes.
Golfing: Calabogie Highlands a 27-hole golf course and Calabogie Peaks 9- hole, are minutes from the resort. Other courses are in a radius of a 45-minute drive.
