The Calabogie track has been designed to provide a challenging, safe and charismatic venue for amateur and club level performance driving enthusiasts.

ImageThe typical track user is considered to be the driver of a road going sports car (Porsche, BMW, Corvette and Ferrari being prime examples) driving amongst small groups of similar performance cars in low intensity competitive or non-competitive conditions. Such drivers will typically be part of a club group, often coordinated under the auspices of such clubs as the Porsche, Ferrari, Corvette one make associations or as part of a commercially operated “Track Day” group or as a member of a regional sports car club. Many users will also be drawn to the facility as customers of high performance driving schools.

The layout and design of the Calabogie course was, from the outset, designed with this customer in mind, to provide them with the high speed challenges that they would not be able to find on public roads or even other comparable closed courses, and to do so in the safest possible conditions to provide a level of enjoyment that would make them return to Calabogie over and over again.

The Calabogie track will provide the driver with an exhilarating challenge and will be extremely difficult to master. Consequently drivers can expect to return over and again if they want to truly master the course. At the same time the developers have designed the track to incorporate all appropriate safety measures as may be required by ASN Canada, the sanctioning body under which the track will operate.

Calabogie is likely to be recognized as one of the most aesthetically pleasing driving facilities in North America thanks to the proximity of its woodlands, its adherence to the natural topography of the site and the sheer drama of its course design.

Above all, it will be great fun to drive!
